Eligibility Criteria to Join PAF as Commissioned Officer 2023
To join Pakistan Air Force (PAF) candidate should qualify the following eligibility criteria. The complete information regarding education, height and age is given below for each post. Keep in mind that for all the following posts age limit is 16-22 years & 18 to 30 years (as on 20th April 2024). Height should be 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) (for male) & 4 feet 10 inches (for female).

How To Join PAF as Commissioned Officer?
- Interested candidates can register online by visiting Pakistan Air Force PAF official website at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
- Initial medical examination and interview at I&S Centre.
- Only short listed candidates would be detailed for ISSB.
- Test / Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir / Quetta.
- Final medical examination at CMB, Lahore.
- Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) of GD (P) candidates only.
- Interview by AHQ Special Selection Board for CSC candidates only.
- Final selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.
- Note: Appearing Candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have obtained 65% marks in Fsc/’A’ Level (Part-1) and bring a certificate from the Principal that they are likely to pass Fsc/’A’ Level Examination in the prescribed grades (FSC Courses only). Candidates with O/’A’ Level background are required to produce equivalence (Pre-Engg/Pre-Medical) certificates.
